SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS
When you go on a surf trip it is always good to check out the community and see what is going on out of the water. A lot of communities we travel to as surfers are less fortunate than ourselves, so one of the easy things you can do to give back is spend a little money in the community. In Liberia I decided to visit the local tailor and have him make me a custom African suit; it was very little money to me, the money went a long way with him, and I have the raddest souvenir you can get. I even came back and had him make me some shorts!
